Q – What is the difference between Commonwealth Choice and CeltiCare Direct?
Q – Who is Centene?
Centene is the parent company of CeltiCare. It is a leading national healthcare company with 25 years of experience in managed care programs and currently serves over 1.3 million members in nine states. To find out more, you can visit the website at www.centene.com.
Q – Is CeltiCare part of Caritas?
No, Caritas is a community-based hospital system that has partnered with Centene to form CeltiCare. However, we will contract with doctors, in and out of the Caritas network to provide members the best access to all benefits and services.
ENROLLMENT
Q – Once I have my baby, will he/she be part of CeltiCare?
CeltiCare will not be responsible for costs associated with newborns on or after the date of birth as they should be enrolled in the MassHealth program on their date of birth. Please contact CeltiCare as soon as possible after the birth of your child so we can assist you in this process.

Q – How can I learn more about CeltiCare benefits?
All members receive an Evidence of Coverage (EOC) in the new member welcome packet. The EOC explains your rights, benefits and responsibilities as a member of our health plan. The EOC can also be found on on the Members tab under Additional Resources. Members have a right to receive, free of charge, a paper copy of the EOC. Please contact Member Services at 1-866-895-1786 if you need a copy.
CENTACCOUNT HEALTHY REWARDS PROGRAM
Q – How do I earn rewards?
The CentAccount Healthy Rewards program lets you earn up to $150 onto your own pre-paid MasterCard by simply doing things that help you stay healthy. CeltiCare will automatically put money onto a debit card for you after you complete easy healthy behaviors. These behaviors include:
1. Filling out a short health risk screening form.
2. Going to your primary care provider (PCP) once within the first 90 days of becoming a CeltiCare member.
3. Going to an annual check-up with your PCP once a year.
Q – Where can I use the money?
Your Healthy Rewards card can be used to for health related items at CVS, Wal-Mart, Shop n’ Save, Hannaford Supermarkets and lots of other stores. You can also use the money on your Healthy Rewards card at doctor’s offices that accept MasterCard® debit cards.
Q – When will I get the money?
You will receive a pre-paid Mastercard® debit card after you complete your first healthy behaviors. If you complete more, you will get a postcard notifying you that more money has been added to the card.
Q – Do I have to open a credit card for this?
No, you will receive a pre-paid Mastercard® debit card after you complete your healthy behaviors. It will in no way affect your credit. There will be a certain amount of money already loaded to the card. You can earn up to $150 by simply doing things that help you stay healthy. It will in no way affect your credit.
